Chelsea is such a little mom! She pulled out her old change mat and spread it on the floor. Then she brought her doll over and put her on it. Then I see her bringing her wipes container and an extra diaper over, she then proceeds to try and change her dolls diaper. It was so cute, she is going to be a great big sister! No we are not "announcing" anything, but when it does happen she will be a great big help.

We had a little one at home with the tree all set up. Chelsea loved the lights on the tree, and had fun undecorating anything on the tree within her reach. She had fun pulling the bows off any presents left under the tree too... It was Classic! But instead of getting frustrated with her for it I just enjoyed the novelty of now being the one with the toddler pulling things off the Christmas tree, instead of just hearing people talk about it.

It felt like we were young and back home working together like that. Putting up the Christmas tree, hanging the stockings, playing games. It was so fun to be with everyone.

We all got quite a kick out of it. One of my parents favorite parts was how they kept saying "Hi" to one another, "Hi"..."Hi"..."Hi"...."Hi"...."Hi"...... Their favorite gift by far was the Power Wheels Quads that Grandma and Grandpa got them, we took them outside for a spin and those two loved pushing them as much as they loved riding them.

On the rare chance that she's born on her due date; that would put her at 2 weeks old. I've heard that in their first week they loose a pound or two, but then they gain it back with interest in the second week. First I had some friends from Peru come up to visit, and we made some Peruvian dishes, it was a lot of fun. It was sure nice to see them again, because who knows when I'll be able to go and visit Peru again... My brother and sister-in-law came down from Canada for the weekend too, so we went bowling and snowmobiling. that was a blast since i haven't done that since I was really little, it took a while to build up my confidence but it was awesome... I also had to teach the Relief Society message this week, and after church we had a family potluck/ celebration of mine and my mother-in-laws birthday, that was fun and the cake was great... and my brother-in-law just came up from Utah and is saying with us while he works here in town. So yes...CRAZY would be a good word to describe my weekend... Crazy but fun too.
I got a few fun pictures of us snowmobiling and Esau playing with his "cousin" (my brothers puppy they brought down with them). The funny thing is that the little guy could get Esau on his back and keep him pinned down for quite a while, it was a blast watching those two play.
chantellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12243188445786884957noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4284548775256832034.post-2728218172064739252009-02-09T11:30:00.001-08:002009-02-09T11:39:34.866-08:00BLING BLING
We had to get Esau a new collar because the one we had was a "command collar" and he started ignoring it, every time we would try to correct him he would ignore us and keep doing what ever he wanted.
